Agent Kim Reactivated’ Breaks Records With Explosive Premiere Ratings
SBS’s new action thriller Agent Kim Reactivated is off to a phenomenal start, setting multiple records with its premiere.
According to Nielsen Korea, the drama debuted with a nationwide rating of 9.5% for episode 1 and surged to 15.7% for episode 2. The series has become the highest-rated SBS drama of 2026 and the fastest drama across all television channels to surpass the 15% mark since The Penthouse 3.
Starring So Ji Sub, Agent Kim Reactivated follows a former secret agent who has left his dangerous past behind to live as an ordinary bank employee and single father. However, his quiet life is shattered when his daughter is kidnapped, forcing him to return to the world he thought he had escaped.
The drama’s success isn’t limited to South Korea. Agent Kim Reactivated has also entered Netflix’s Top 10 rankings in more than 80 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates, highlighting its growing global popularity.
