Agent Kim Reactivated Season 2 Officially Under Discussion
Fans of Agent Kim Reactivated may not have to wait too long for more, as the hit SBS action drama has officially entered discussions for a second season.
On July 26, following reports that Season 2 was in development, the production company confirmed that talks are underway.

In a statement, the team said, “Thanks to the tremendous love and support, we are currently holding positive discussions regarding the production of Season 2.” They also noted that since Season 1 has only recently concluded, no production schedule has been finalized and more details will be shared once plans are confirmed.
Starring So Ji Sub, Agent Kim Reactivated follows a former secret agent who lives as an ordinary father until his daughter’s kidnapping forces him back into the dangerous world he left behind.
The series concluded its 10-episode run on July 25 after becoming one of the biggest K-drama hits of 2026. It premiered with 9.5% nationwide ratings before climbing to a peak of 23.1% for episode 8, making it one of SBS’s highest-rated Friday-Saturday dramas.
The drama also found major international success, remaining in Netflix’s Global Top 10 for four consecutive weeks and attracting viewers around the world.
While Season 2 has not yet been officially greenlit, the latest update is an encouraging sign for fans hoping to see Agent Kim Reactivated return.
