SBS Reveals Upcoming K-Drama Lineup for 2026 and 2027
SBS has officially revealed its upcoming drama slate during the “SBS Drama: Next Episode” media event, giving viewers a preview of what’s coming in late 2026 and throughout 2027.
SBS has unveiled its upcoming K-drama lineup for late 2026 and 2027, featuring major titles such as Agent Kim Reactivated starring So Ji Sub, Flex X Cop 2, Good Partner 2, Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia, and Nine to Six. The broadcaster also announced new projects including Awakening, The Long Shot Trial, Nightmare, and Full Count, showcasing a mix of action, romance, legal, horror, and sports dramas.
Among the biggest titles announced is Agent Kim Reactivated, starring So Ji Sub as a former elite agent forced back into action after his daughter’s life is put in danger. Also returning is the hit crime series Flex X Cop 2, which sees Ahn Bo Hyun reprise his role as detective Jin Yi Soo alongside Jung Eun Chae’s new team leader character.
Medical drama fans can look forward to Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia, led by Kim Ji Won as a brilliant surgeon determined to challenge the flaws within the healthcare system. Meanwhile, Good Partner 2 brings back Jang Na Ra’s popular divorce lawyer Cha Eun Gyeong while introducing new cast members Kim Hye Yoon and Park Hae Jin.
The romance genre will be represented by Nine to Six, starring Park Min Young and Yook Sung Jae. Adapted from the Chinese drama The Rational Life, the series follows a successful career woman whose life begins to change after meeting a younger colleague.
SBS also unveiled several projects planned for 2027. Horror-thriller Awakening follows students who gain terrifying abilities while preparing for university entrance exams, with Lee Jun Hyuk starring as a priest fighting to save them. Legal drama The Long Shot Trial features Lee Je Hoon as a former lawyer helping turn impossible cases into victories.
Also joining the lineup is Nightmare, a dark vigilante drama starring Lee You Mi and Kim Nam Gil, centered on a group that punishes criminals by trapping them inside terrifying dreams. Sports drama Full Count rounds out the slate with a story of ambition, survival, and power struggles in the world of professional baseball.
With returning fan favorites, major stars, and a wide variety of genres, SBS appears to be preparing one of its most ambitious drama lineups in recent years.
