Set in 1999 during the peak of nationwide doomsday fears, this mystery fantasy drama follows a group of ordinary people who suddenly become the city’s most unlikely heroes.

Eun Chae Ni is a spirited and unpredictable young woman living a quiet life with her grandmother, Kim Jeon Bok, in Haeseong City. But everything changes after a mysterious incident gives Chae Ni and her neighbors, Son Gyeong Un and Kang Ro Bin, strange supernatural powers.

The problem is their abilities are unstable, unreliable, and often more dangerous than helpful.

As fear spreads across the city and people begin mysteriously disappearing, the trio is pulled into a growing crisis far bigger than they ever imagined. Along the way, they team up with Lee Un Jeong, a cold but principled civil servant from Seoul who becomes deeply involved in uncovering the truth behind the incidents.

Their investigation eventually leads them to Ha Un Do, a calm and intelligent figure hiding dangerous secrets beneath his composed exterior.

Blending supernatural chaos, suspense, comedy, and emotional growth, the story follows a group of flawed people forced into extraordinary circumstances as they struggle to protect Haeseong City from a threat slowly consuming it from within.
