Nok Du grows up isolated on an island, forbidden by his father from studying or leaving for the mainland, though he's smart and skilled with a sword. When his family is attacked by a group of female assassins, he chases one of them to the capital and, to survive, ends up disguising himself as a woman inside a house full of maidens with their own secrets. It's a fun, fast-paced gender-swap period comedy.
