Jung Hae In and Ha Young’s “Our Sticky Love” gets a premiere date

Netflix just confirmed it: Our Sticky Love drops August 7.

The story follows Go Eun Sae (Ha Young), a hotshot prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Department who wakes up in a hospital with zero memory of who she is. No ID, no past, nothing. That’s when Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach, walks in and calmly tells her he’s her boyfriend. She’s not buying it for a second. He insists they met in the mountains and that’s where it all started, but the more he explains, the more confused she gets. It’s a classic memory-loss setup, but the leads already have some real chemistry going by the look of the teaser.

The poster shows the two of them standing side by side in a quiet village called Gujin, him relaxed with an easy smile, her looking completely lost next to him. The tagline says it all: “No past. No proof. He’s my only clue!”

The teaser itself does a good job showing the before-and-after of her life. It opens with her rolling up in a sports car, all confidence, introducing herself as a prosecutor. Cut to her waking up in a hospital bed with no way to even prove her own name. That contrast alone sets up a lot of the emotional pull for the show.

Things get more complicated with Baek Sang Gil (Heo Sung Tae), a crime boss who enters the picture, and eventually the two leads find themselves being chased by people they can’t identify. So on top of the memory-loss romance, there’s a whole mystery and chase element layered in.
