Ji Chang Wook and Imada Mio’s Merry Berry Love Confirms October Premiere

The upcoming Korea-Japan co-produced romance drama Merry Berry Love has officially announced its premiere window and released its first posters.

On July 30, CJ ENM confirmed that Merry Berry Love will premiere worldwide this October. The series will stream globally on Disney+ while also airing every Wednesday on Japan’s Nippon TV.

Set on the picturesque Charo Island in Japan, the drama follows Lee Yoo Bin (Ji Chang Wook), a successful spatial planner who loses everything overnight. Hoping for a fresh start, he travels to the island, where he meets Shirahama Karin (Imada Mio), a hardworking strawberry farmer devoted to her family farm.

As Yoo Bin adjusts to his new life, an unexpected romance begins to blossom between the two, set against the backdrop of the island’s peaceful countryside.

The series marks the first co-production between CJ ENM and Nippon TV, bringing together Korean star Ji Chang Wook and rising Japanese actress Imada Mio in the lead roles.

The supporting cast includes Nam Yoon Su as Park Gu Nam, a part-time worker on the island, and Kumada Rinka as Mizuno Mari, Karin’s best friend and a tarot reader.

Merry Berry Love is scheduled to premiere worldwide this October on Disney+, with broadcasts in Japan airing weekly on Nippon TV.
