True Beauty is a romantic comedy centered on Lim Ju Gyeong, a high school girl who transforms her life after mastering makeup through YouTube tutorials. With her skills, she rises to popularity and is seen as a “goddess” at school, but she is terrified of anyone seeing her bare face and goes to great lengths to keep her secret hidden.

Her life changes when she meets Lee Su Ho, a handsome and seemingly cold student who is actually warm and caring beneath his reserved exterior, shaped by a painful past. Su Ho is the only person who has seen Ju Gyeong without makeup, and as they grow closer, they begin to share their secrets and heal each other’s wounds.

As their relationship develops, the story explores themes of self-esteem, acceptance, and inner beauty, asking whether Ju Gyeong can learn to embrace her true self—and whether Su Ho can help her realize that true beauty goes far beyond appearances.
