Ji Sun-woo is a respected doctor with what looks like a perfect marriage and family, until she discovers her husband has been having a long affair. Rather than simply leave, she methodically plans a much colder, more devastating revenge, and the show follows how far both of them, and everyone around them, are willing to go once the fallout starts spreading through their small town.
