A powerful demon lord is sealed away in the underworld for millennia after a catastrophic battle, only to be freed by a flower spirit whose fate turns out to be far more tangled up with his than either of them initially realizes. Told across parallel timelines and shifting identities, it's a sweeping fantasy romance about two beings whose connection survives even when neither remembers why.
