Kang David is a former judge driven by ambition and material success. Known as a legal influencer with a spotless image and hundreds of thousands of followers, he appears to be on a fast track to success. However, after becoming entangled in an unexpected incident, he steps down from the bench and begins a new chapter as a public interest lawyer, working in a quiet, overlooked corner of the legal world.

Park Gi Ppeum is also a public interest lawyer, but she is David’s complete opposite. Once she becomes interested in something, she throws herself into it wholeheartedly. Her passion for various hobbies eventually leads her to become a devoted “law enthusiast.” She finds purpose and comfort in her work as a lawyer by defending human rights, pursuing social justice, and helping ordinary citizens who place their faith in the law.

The two meet as members of the public interest legal team at the non-profit organization Pro Bono. Using the money earned from defending powerful conglomerates, they provide legal aid to victims who have nowhere else to turn. Together, Kang David and Park Gi Ppeum work to uncover the true meaning of justice and restore faith in the law.
