Jang Gi-u is 32 and drifting from one short teaching contract to the next. Four years ago a false rumor about him and a student stopped him from ever sitting the teacher certification exam, and he has stayed in temporary jobs ever since. His single mother always told him to be someone with "no flaws in the eyes of others", and from the outside he lives up to that. On the inside his life feels flat and unremarkable, or at least that's what everyone says.
