Wen Yi Fan is a reporter who drops by a bar called Overtime to meet her best friend, Zhong Si Qiao. There, she unexpectedly runs into Sang Yan, one of the bar’s owners and a department manager. He also happens to be her high school deskmate, and the boy she once had feelings for.

Both of them pretend not to recognize each other, acting like strangers despite their shared past. Fate, however, keeps pulling them together. After a series of mishaps, they end up living under the same roof. As old memories resurface and walls slowly come down, Wen Yi Fan and Sang Yan are given a second chance at the feelings they once left behind.
