The story follows a romance that develops between a surgeon and a special forces officer.

Kang Mo Yeon is a confident and principled cardiothoracic surgeon at Haesung Hospital. She believes in honesty, accountability, and that skill should matter more than background or connections. However, she soon comes to realize that ability alone is not always enough to succeed, forcing her to confront uncomfortable realities about her career and life.
