Sin Ha Ri is a single woman who has long had a crush on her male friend, only to be heartbroken when she learns that he already has a girlfriend. Around the same time, she meets her close friend Jin Yeong Seo, the daughter of a wealthy chaebol family. Yeong Seo asks Ha Ri to go on a blind date in her place in exchange for money. Planning to get rejected on purpose, Ha Ri agrees.

However, the plan goes completely wrong when she discovers that her blind date is Kang Tae Mu, the CEO of the company she works for. Tae Mu, frustrated by his grandfather’s constant pressure to marry, decides to wed the next woman he meets so he can put an end to the blind date arrangements once and for all. That woman turns out to be Sin Ha Ri, who is still pretending to be Jin Yeong Seo.

The very next day, Kang Tae Mu contacts her with a shocking proposal—he asks her to marry him.
