The story begins with high school classmates and neighbors Chen Xiao Xi and Jiang Chen. Xiao Xi is cheerful and carefree, not exactly a top student, but she’s never shy about showing her crush on Jiang Chen, who’s well known for his good looks and excellent grades. Along with their close-knit group of friends — the funny Lu Yang, the athletic and loyal Jing Xiao, and the cool swimmer Wu Bo Song — they grow up together, moving from high school to university and eventually into adulthood, sharing friendship, love, and life’s ups and downs along the way.
