Ding Yu Xi and Meng Zi Yi to Star in New Romance Drama Endless Summer
Tencent Video unveiled several upcoming projects during its annual presentation event on June 24, including the new S+ urban romance drama Endless Summer, which has officially confirmed Ding Yu Xi and Meng Zi Yi as its leads.
Directed by Han Yan, the 24-episode series is backed by the creative team behind several popular youth dramas. Filming is set to begin in Guangdong in mid-August and is expected to last around 90 days.
Endless Summer tells the story of two former lovers who were forced to part ways in their youth. Years later, fate brings them back together, and as old memories resurface, they slowly confront the misunderstandings and unresolved feelings that once drove them apart. Their reunion sets the stage for a healing journey of love, forgiveness, and second chances.
Ding Yu Xi will star as Shen Yan, a lawyer, while Meng Zi Yi takes on the role of Hao Ni An, an experienced media professional.
The drama is jointly produced by Tencent Video and Kaihuo Culture and features an original screenplay. Further details, including the premiere date, are expected to be announced at a later time.
